San Francisco Going childcare rate for 1-2 toddlers We are looking for a nanny to care for 1-2 one year olds (depending on the day). I am wondering what other parents pay for either one or two babies here in SF, with no other responsibilities (no housekeeping, laundry etc). Also, have people paid different amounts depending on whether a parent is present (e.g., if I am home working casually around the house and available for difficult situations/ emergencies, all driving etc). 	I haven't found that it's $15-$16 for one child and $18-$20 for two ($18 if they are related and $20 if they are not). It doesn't seem to make a difference if they have other responsibilities or if a parent is at home. If they are 'super' qualified (i.e. have child ed coursework or are a teacher or RN) the price can go as high as $25/child. All of this is before taxes. Flag
