Am I the only one absolutely loving the 1-2 year old stage?  I just am madly in love with my 20 month old right now...I can't express it any other way...Garrett is talking a lot, and just a joy to be with.  His latest cute thing..."mommy, watch out" to protect me if there's something in my way...awww. (I know, you're not supposed to talk about cute things your child does, but...they are cute right now, aren't they?)

I also have a daughter, Jamie, who is almost four, and I felt the same way when she was this age. (If it's your first child, I'm warning you about 2 1/2-3 right now...it's ugly=)

Tell me your "cute" story...well, they are toddlers, so you probably have a few "nightmare" stories, too =). Garrett loves to bite his sister...nough said...

I am really loving this age too(altough I could do without the tantrums and the mood swings) but everyday my 25month old son amazes me. he is talking in 3-4 word sentences for about 2months now and everyday, he says something new. he points out bugs(yuck),airplanes, flowers and so much. He loves to sing along with Blues Clues(which he never even watched until last month).

jake's newest word is "thank you".He's been saying it for awhile(about 10 months) but he will say it for EVERYTHING and you have to answer him back with "you're welcome" or he will keep saying it until he gets a response.

Very cute. If I could keep him at this age forever, I would be really tempted.

I agree. This is a cute stage. I am not looking forward to the terrible 2s and I'm already getting a glimpse of what its gonna intale. I'm in trouble! But recently my husband went away so we took him to the airport (she loves planes!) and everytime we would ask her where daddy is she would say "airplane ride" or say "in a cloud" (she LOVES Mary Poppins so she relates him being in the clouds to that!) and whenever she sees an airplane. She goes "I see daddy! then waves to him and says "hi daddy' how cute right?

I am right there with ya!!  I am loving this stage too.  Justin is a little lover....but he can be a little bugger sometimes too. (he's got the secnd child syndrome ) He tries to bite his older brother too (he's 4).  Justin is almost 21 months....and now he is going through a bit of the mommy whiny stage...but other than that I love the little guy to pieces.  I wish he would stay this age forever.  Well, minus the diaper changes. LOL!
