Description:
The students of COVA, Oakland's K - 8 music-centered charter school, will perform a free concert from 10 am - 3 pm this Sun, Nov 22nd. The performance will take place on the stage in front of the Barnes and Noble bookstore (Embarcadero b/w Washington & Broadway). Choral music, jazz, drumline, a rock band, an R & B band, and more. Please come out and support music in our public schools! The concert is free, but if you are planning to purchase books for yourself or as holiday gifts, please consider picking up a COVA card from one of our volunteers and using it to shop at Barnes and Noble this Sunday. Barnes and Noble will be donating a generous percentage of purchases made with these cards to the school, at no cost to you.
