Description:
Hold an Akilo Party for your Infant -- preferably at age 6 months but any time before the age of 2 -- the earlier the better. At about age 6 months a baby starts to acquire only those languages which are heard. So play songs in many languages -- or download songs in 25 languages from -- http://www.babysafari.us/main-1_000016.htm. Play these songs at the party and then frequently for another year and a half or so. For the party, make something with cinnamon. At the party, it is traditional to wear blue butterflies and to sing this ditty -- "Akilo for you, Akilo for me, Happy Akilo Day for you Happy Akilo Day dear (child’s name), Happy Akilo Day for us". Akilo is pronounced a-Kilo (2.2 pounds). It is an ancient Japanese word which means tranquillity and knowledge.
