How Lango is Different from Other Language Programs

· We’ve learned that one way kids learn best is when they solve problems. They retain what they learn, and it gives them a sense of accomplishment. So we have developed an innovative approach which teaches language through the “adventures” of the Lango Kids, our cast of multicultural characters. Once or twice during class, depending on the age, kids work through simple problems that reinforce the vocabulary and expressions they are learning.

· Lango is part of the Intrax Cultural Exchange family of companies. Intrax Cultural Exchange includes six international education and cultural exchange businesses and organizations. Every Intrax business is dedicated to “connecting people and cultures.” We make use of this larger company’s resources and thirty years of experience in developing curriculum, selecting teachers and managing the program in general.

· At Lango, we offer classes in various locations that are convenient for the families with whom we work. Not running our own centers also helps us keep our prices down.

· We distribute to our students’ families our seasonal storybooks, accompanying flashcards and, for Spanish, our CD Con Cosmo. These materials allow kids to continue learning their language at home through consistent exposure to the same content as at home.
